Great place to visit. We visited the week before Christmas and there wasn't a guided tour but that's the way we like it.
Loved the whole experience. 200 year old structure, famous for a civil war naval battle which precipitated the eventual surrender of the confederacy. Wonderful guides and great indoor museum.
We really enjoyed our visit. Fort is in great shape and right on the beach. We just wished that they offered tours
Great historical site that is close to its original state. It has not been commercialised and you could wander around the area for over an hour and not be in all the rooms..
Fort Morgan is a beautiful historic place to visit. It is also an amazing place to go fishing. However, if you stay past dark be sure to have plenty of bug spray on hand. The mosquitos out there at night are huge and in swarms!
