They do not follow constitutional ammendment rights, they will enter your home without a warrant and get physical with you. I have no respect for the gulf shores police they are crooked and thieves
Look at these ignorant, bad posts... They start with "my friend". Well news flash, you aren't getting the whole or real story!! If "your friend" wasn't breaking the law in the first place, they wouldn't have encounter the police! I've been coming here for 20 years and I can say I have NEVER had a bad run in with the police. The other night I was at the hangout and I saw 2 police officers walking through and you know what went through my head? No, it wasn't they are here to get me. I was thinking it was great police work with these gentlemen walking through and keeping me safe from the criminals! Wake up people and stop demonizing the police for your mistakes. They are here to protect us and keep us safe. Remember this, they enforce laws, not make them. If you have and issue take it up with your law makers. I support the peace keepers!
All the people giving reviews on how bad the PD is I'd like to say this. These officers put their lives on the line every day, so many people come down here to get away from mommy and daddy and want to raise a little hell destroy our beaches and rental properties and think they shouldn't have to answer for it. How do the officers know your not going to try and kill them ? If you want to act stupid and stay drunk for a week, please STAY IN YOUR HOME STATE.
Walking down the street. Literally, on the side of the road. The color of your skin reflects violence in all residential eyes. Do not walk alone. I pity the ignorance in the state of Alabama. "Sweet home Alabama", is very sour and disgusting. I pray for the ignorance and hope they wake up to see the beauty in all individuals.
Very polite and professional officer. I was very upset at first but once the situation was explained to me by officer Kriss I calmed down and it descalade the situation. Support Blue lives! They protect us!
My friend was walking down the street and held at gun point by near by residents. They called the police and charged him with "attempt to commit"
