My husband and I are currently staying at Lazy Lakes RV Park. I have to say, Elizabeth and Ed the owners are very nice. Ed is quite funny everytime I talk to him. We had heard about Lazy Lakes in Illinois from another couple who used to come here. Yes there is a concrete plant or gravel plant next door but from our spot you don't really hear it. The monthly rent price is great. You get cable t.v. and free WiFi at every site. The lots are spacious. I wish they all had concert slabs but maybe in the future. Stocked fishable pond in the middle where each site has a view of the pond. All of the other campers are very friendly and we all talk with each other. Very clean bathhouse and laundry onsite.
We will be returning next winter.
I love the environment! The management are also very well intended people, I haven't met them personally although you can tell by how they maintain everything and how inviting the place truly does seem. In terms of maintenance, I couldn't be happier. The pond is stocked well with fish, the wash houses are very clean and inviting, the grass is kept clean cut and beautiful. Over all the place is just clean. To elaborate on the inviting nature of the park, the name says it all. Gulf shores is a wonderful vacation town and I highly recommend staying here if you decide to visit. God bless
great people, beautiful environment. the concrete company provided background noise, but was not an issue or offensive to me. the prices are the best in town and the location is convenient to the beaches and shopping. camped in a small motor home and can't wait to go back.
Loved are time at Lazy Lake Rv... Felt like being home. Very clean grounds , laundry and bathe house.
I can not say enough good things about this place. They have large spacious lots with a very nice lake for fishing. The owners are extremely pleasant. Some complain about the noise from the concrete plant next door but we didn't hear it at all. It is close to so many shop & restaurants with a short drive to the beach. Thank u so much for the southern hospitality. We had a blast and will definitely be back.
If you need a quiet place to camp close to all the tourist sights and only a few miles from the beach this is the place to be ! A diamond tucked away from it all yet close too. The best of both worlds .... Will definitely recommend !!
