Very clean and well maintained. Park security is very friendly and help full as well as the rangers and law enforcement make you feel safe while your there.
Awesome campground and beautiful park. The campground spots are spacious and easy to get in to. Everyone is very friendly. They have educational programs frequently for kids and adults. Park is great for bike riding and walking. Beautiful!
The hike was longer than expected, but only because we took some extra turns. They have nice restrooms, a park for kids, and even an alligator or two! The trail is nice and smooth and loops, so you don't have to walk the same path twice. We had a good time, although if we come back we will probably find a shorter route.
The gulf state park is really nice.. Campsites are big.. They have miles of walking trails.. Nature center.. Sites on lake n primitive tent camping but you can put a tent anywhere.. It includes water n electric.. Quiet n staff are very curtious n helpful...you also get free pass to the pier n pavilion both have beach access! Great place. Definitely will be coming back!
One of my favorite campgrounds! The sunsets are beautiful, the walking paths are amazing, and the pool is almost resort-like quality. Our camping spot was a little tight for our 40ft class A and we didn't have much room at all to park our towed pickup, but we made it work. The bugs were terrible when we were there, but that's not the parks fault! Lovely Campground that we will certainly return to.
