When we first arrived at Kiva Dunes, the front staff were very helpful and explained that we could use all access points to the beach, including one through the new Beach Club. Our rental, which was perfect for 3 families with young kids, was towards the end of the property. The main beach access has a lot of stairs and having a person with a bad hip in our group, we were looking for a more flat walkway. The beach club was easiest access. We were told we could bring all our personal items through the club, but turns out that is wrong. You are not allowed to bring your cooler(understandable) but then it was we had to move further down the beach, then we couldn't have our umbrella. Finally when we asked we were told you just couldn't set up directly in front of the beach club on the beach, again understandable but frustrating we weren't told. Our last day as we were walking into the club, one of the female workers vaulted us at the front and said we were not allowed to bring anything through. We explained that we have been and were told we could, but she continued to follow us to the access and yelled. Another patron came up to us and expressed his own issues with the lady. The manager came and said we were allowed to bring items through but not a cooker, which we didn't have! It is unfortunate that the club has staff allowed to work there that would treat its customers that way. Kiva Dunes is beautiful and our rental was perfect, but miscommunication and staff like that will make us think twice about returning.
Superb golf course. Do not play here in August if you can help it. It's still wonderful, but holy hell the temp and humidity is simply oppressive. Love the college student discount. Really really worth it.
Kiva way condo, golf course view. This a large 2b/2bath unit. Full kitchen could serve 12. The new beach club has resort service. An app lets you place food/drink orders from your phone. We had crab dip and fried mushrooms with live music on Friday. Security is very good. Staff is friendly. Umbrella, Chairs and towels provided. This is a very quiet beach, with wildlife and total relaxation.

Love the place , Kiva grill has the best Mahi on the Island , and all the sandwiches are wonderful, the whole staff is fabulous, love the place.
